On Martin Luther King, Jr day...

Remembering a man gone many years ago, one with wisdom and clarity that we rarely see today. Oddly enough, some people - we could call them "haters" but we'll refer to them instead as the "unenlightened", find negative things to say about Martin Luther King Jr.

People say that race shouldn't be such an issue and I agree. But Dr. King didn't make his mark

Pro Police Rally in Dover, Delaware

This was held on a cold Saturday afternoon in downtown Dover, on the Green at The Law Enforcement Memorial. It was coming together to show support for our police officers; people were encouraged to bring signs and banners, to wear blue, or bring candles. It was a peaceful, family friendly gathering of community members.

I'd never been to something like this but felt we needed to show we cared by attending. It was very moving and well worth the trip to participate and to offer our support to the local officers and to the community. Here are some picture from that afternoon.
