We're Selling Our Kids A Lie

It's Tuesday (only Tuesday!?😉) of an overstuffed, crazily spinning circus of chaos this week....and then I see this that speaks so much more loudly than just the words on a photograph.....

There are so many things i want to say to right now.... why do we put kids in school for 12 years only to inadequately prepare them for the real world, and instead, harm their chances of success? What is the reasoning behind dummying down standards and removing accountability because school officials and parents alike are too afraid to stand up to their children? And why do we remove options and classes which could lead to productive, lucrative, and needed industries and fields, by shaming teenagers into believing they will only be worth something if they go to traditional college?
