The Delmarva Peninsula is located on the east coast, made up of 14 counties which include the eastern shore portions of Maryland and Virginia, along with the state of Delaware.
Four years ago I'd posted a short entry about this small historic African-American church and graveyard in Deal Island, Maryland. The headstones represented veterans of multiple generations and conflicts and I felt it was such a tragedy that the property was so badly damaged (likely due to Hurricane Sandy).

As a leader who has inspired me for decades, who's words I wove into speeches in high school and were the first sentence I posted on my Facebook profile, I wanted to find something a bit different to pass on today.
Ice, ice baby......okay, that's an oldie but it's a fact that a lot of us LOVE, adore, crave and delight in eating ice. No, it doesn't always mean there's something wrong with you, healthwise.....sure, it can mean that but plenty of us are fine and just obsessed with locating and enjoying "good ice".
