Welcome Summer 2021! June 20th is the Official Start of the Summer Solstice

To some this may appear just an ordinary Sunday, but to those waiting impatiently for the official start of summer, it's a celebration! The summer solstice officially begins Sunday, June 20th and ends Wednesday, September 22nd, but that's not all that happens on this day.

Celebrating National Flip Flop Day | June 18th, 2021

Observed on the third Friday each June is a holiday honoring the humble and yet historic flip flop. Did you know that flip flops are believed to have originated as early as the ancient Egyptians in 1,500 BC? Kingsley Orchards Blueberry Farm in Frankford, Delaware

On Saturday, June 12th, after what seemed like a forever wait for plump, delicious berries, we made a trek over to Kingsley Orchards Blueberry Farm in Frankford, Delaware. YUM. Oh my goodness. WOW. I'm not even kidding you, these are amazing blueberries!
