Vintage Delmarva | Fenwick Island, DE (Part Three)

These are old postcards and/or vintage advertising which I don't believe were included on the first blog post for images of Fenwick Island, DE. Located just steps away from the Maryland beach town of Ocean City, and nestled on the coastline by the Atlantic Ocean, the town of Fenwick Island is loved by many and holds a special place in the hearts of countless visitors, guests, tourists and residents.

Libby's Restaurant closed (maybe around 2000 or a little before) so I was excited to find a few old postcards and a matchbook at an antique store.

I always wondered what happened to the horse statue that was out front.

Clark's Store was before my time but I'd love to know exactly where in Fenwick it would have been.

Thanksgiving Day advertisement - which I find odd, since I don't recall Warren's ever being open that late into the season. Seems they usually close in late September or early October?

Vintage Matchbooks are difficult to scan individually, so I finally started taking photos of them just lined up in a row.

You may not be able to see all the wording if they are faded but most are still in pretty good shape.

No one seems to remember this place, but I think it was in the shopping center just north of the Country store.

They also had a location in Ocean City, which I don't recall seeing. Do you remember it?
