Foster Dog Jayla (Three months later)

It's a short but joyful video clip that speaks volumes....

I walked Jayla on a Monday in the summer, I think just a day or two after she'd been brought in, and was worried that maybe she really couldn't actually walk. 😒

Her rear legs twisted out at an angle and would almost collapse due to her having been in a crate her entire life. She had no muscle tone, and her hip seemed to give out from time to time...I walked her very slowly, letting her sniff the outside world, and look around. I worried and wondered if she'd have to be put down since she seemed to be in such poor shape. πŸ˜” Fast forward to three months here with us.....she LOVES her yard, started going for small walks and gradually got stronger, adores playtime with her favorite ball on a rope, and enjoys afternoon naps in the sun. ❤️

What a difference to see a happy, hopping, bouncy girl, where a sad and withdrawn dog once was. 🐾🐾
