If we all feel the same things, why is it so hard to communicate?

I lost a little faith in humanity over the last few months....

People have always told me that we all go through similar things in life, face many of the same struggles and challenges, encounter the same burdens, and that n
o one is exempt from these situations, as this is just one of the many ways in whicb we are both alike and yet similar, as human beings.

There is no real difference in money or status; it doesn't make you more kind, or caring; it doesn't give the gift of empathy or friendship, and it certainly makes none of us any better than the rest.

We all suffer, feel pain and sadness, are lonely or feel hopeless, in different ways, from time to time. No matter what your status in life, what kind of car you drive, or the size of your bank account, nothing can take the place of real people and actual kindness.

I wonder then, why our communication becomes so difficult and complicated; why small misunderstandings grow to problems of greater proportions, and why we lose our ability to still care enough to work through such situations. Too many great relationships and friendships die due to lack of understanding, a void of empathy, or simply two people misunderstanding one another, and some of those situations become the greatest losses in our lives.

I wish anyone reading this would pause and think about what really matters; stop and remember the people they love, or reflect on what they could do to help someone in need, because kindness and putting aside the "noise" and/or drama. is so often the piece of the puzzle we miss. Maybe I've missed it and didn't even realize, or failed to be kind because I got caught up in my own drama or problems; maybe we all do, from time to time, but at the end of the day we all have love to give, share, and live, together. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿงก
