Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day 2021

It is time once again for us to pause, remember, and thank our Vietnam Veterans. Although we are grateful everyday for the contributions made by the men and women who serve our country, March 29th (or 30th, in some places) is the officially designated occasion created to acknowledge them.

National Vietnam War Veterans Day unites Americans to thank and honor those who served along with their families. In 2017 the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act was officially signed into law by 45th U.S. President Donald J. Trump, designating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day. The date is significant as March 29, 1973 was the day United States Military Assistance Command, Vietnam was disestablished and also the day the last U.S. combat troops departed Vietnam. In addition, on and around this same day Hanoi released the last of its acknowledged prisoners of war. Source:
