We are all out there every day, traveling the same roads across the counties and states of Delmarva. Regardless of what kind of transportation you use, whether you operate a vehicle, drive professional, commute to work on a bicycle or ride a motorcycle.....we are all in this together. Make the effort to “respect the road”, move over for emergency vehicles and stay alert so we can all arrive alive.
Stay alert for increased activity on the roadways this weekend as the weather warms up. Respect the ride, Delmarva!
Staying focused is no hocus pocus. Despite being ignored, your phone will live.
That means you. And him. (and OMG, especially YOU). :D
Cyclist. Biker. Pedestrian. Dog walker. Runner. Motorcyclist. Our lives ALL matter.
Warmer weather means more pedestrians, bikes and motorcycles.
FACT: all two wheeled and non-automotive vehicles are less noticed than a typical car. Stand out and wear reflective gear. Remember to look twice.
Celebrate #NationalBikeMonth by being bright at night.
And make it a habit to always, LOOK TWICE.
Warm weather = more wheels on the road.
Have we mentioned May is National "Survive The Ride" month? Okay, we made that up just to get your attention. But a helmet is STILL cool headgear.
We know that YOU know this but (SHHH....it seems some people don't). "Park the Phone"
May is National Bicycle Safety Month. Do you have any idea what year it began?
Advocating awareness and safe travel while out on our roadways ~ whether on a bicycle, driving a truck, vacationers heading to the beach or local residents riding a motorcycles ~ make it a priority to "Share the Road". #AlertAwareALIVE Find us on Facebook! P.S. National Bike Month started in 1956.
