Please note that the dates included here mainly focus on chocolate in it's purest form, that of milk, dark, etc., in solid form, and I'm going to be adding another list here for daily observances of chocolate-filled confections as well.
It's also important to notice that there are several duplicate dates and multiple observances of, for example, National Chocolate Day, occurring in both October and December. Here's why: there are a variety of dates that have been designated as "Chocolate Day" around the world. The most commonly accepted such date is July 7th, however various Chocolate Days have been called Local, National or International/World.
The U.S. National Confectioners Association lists four primary chocolate holidays on their calendar; (Chocolate Day, July 7th), two National Chocolate Days (October 28th and December 28th), and International Chocolate Day (September 13th), in addition to variants such as National Milk Chocolate Day, National White Chocolate Day, and National Cocoa Day.
