Good morning and happy first day of Twixmas. Sandwiched in between Christmas and New Year's, this holiday was created to acknowledge the weird, undefined space where people have days off, partial work days, kids out of school, year-end deadlines, slightly confused dogs, and general chaos. 🤣 It's not a bad thing; if you are off work, #twixmas could be an opportunity to clean the house, play board games, take naps, catch up on projects, or head over to your local animal shelter and spend a few hours helping to walk dogs and play and socialize with kitties. 🐾🐾 A few years back, when we used to wind up with two weeks off around the holidays, we'd visit museums all over Delmarva, try little out of the way sandwich shops, and go to parks and wildlife refuge areas.
